Biography
After the death of his mother, Okuyasu and his older brother Keichou were subjected to abuse by their father during their childhood. Unbeknownst to either of them, their father had become a minion of Dio and was implanted with a flesh bud. Despite Dio eventually perishing, his flesh bud remained active inside of their father’s body, causing him to mutate into a nearly immortal, indestructible being. In order to end the misery of their father and become free, Keichou takes it upon himself to find a Stand user that is capable of killing Mr. Nijimura, along with the help of Okuyasu.
Okuyasu admires and respects his older brother Keichou but he begins to question his actions after encountering Josuke for the first time.
Soon afterwards, Keichou is then killed by the Stand Red Hot Chili Pepper. Fueled by the desire for revenge, Okuyasu seeks out Chili Pepper’s user to kill him in turn.
While Okuyasu is initially hostile towards Josuke, he quickly becomes his ally and friend, joining him on his journey to help solve the murders and disappearances occurring in Morioh.
Okuyasu is quick to jump into action due to his brash, hotheaded personality and acknowledges his own dimwitted nature but he also proves himself to be a loyal, positive, and kindhearted person.
The Hand (ザ・ハンド) is Okuyasu’s Stand, capable of erasing space and physical objects with its right hand. As to where whatever is erased goes is a mystery, even to Okuyasu himself.
